comfort and style!
Worth every penny, these comfortable and fashionable shoes are a Godsend to anyone who’s feet hurt, or legs, back, or neck, due to cheap, made in china shoes.
Strong, comfortable and with a feel like sneakers, these shoes are great for logging up the miles on your walk. I wear brown in the winter and white in the summer and would not be without my Mephistos.
These do wonders for your feet, and have that perfect balance to them. They are strong and well made (nothing like the made in china factory garbage that has flooded US markets); handmade in France and Portugal. The leather is strong, water resistant and the soles have the strength to aborb shock from city pavement. Like all the Mephisto shoes and sandals, these are incredibly comfortable and long lasting.
Mephisto recommends that you wear them “true to size”, but state that most Americans wear shoes (and sandals) that are slightly too small for us. I wear Mephisto exclusively and have found that my shoe size, in Mephisto, means a little extra room. Do not be tempted to go down a half size. After your feet get used to wearing Mephisto, other brands will not only hurt your feet, legs, back and neck, but will actually feel too tight. A lot of research has gone into Mephisto, and with each hand made, they are worth the cost. Also, for a fraction of the cost, Mephisto will resole and refurbish any product of theirs, meaing that it is truly an investment in your health. No more foot pain; no more tired leg ache, or neck strain, or even headaches from poor shoes. So many of the brands are now made from the same factories in china that the only difference is when they slap the brand name tag on them; but they are all the same; cheaply made so that maximum profit to the shareholder; even at the expense of the customer.
