Good for Miles and Miles
I’ve walked miles on concrete in these shoes, and gotten no blisters or discomfort. I can’t say that about my New Balance sneakers or Doc Martens. I have extremely wide and tall feet, so I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes, but these have been great. I like the way they look, too.

Supportive arch, comfortable Keen Austin shoe
I got these for my husband fro Christmas. He had worn Keen sandals previously and liked them. He is very picky about proper fit and proper arch support and his feet are very happy in these. I would recommend them especially for anyone with weak arches or anyone who stands for a large portion of the day.

really are waterproof
After some bad experiences with other woman’s boots which claimed to be waterproof. . I think some companies think women don’t actually go outdoors .. I tried these boots. They work. They feel loose when you try them on so the boot lore of yesteryear of having a perfect fit doesn’t apply here as they are so comfortable there was no break in period, although I thought they were too loose in the heel and would cause blisters . . not so, once I got used to the fit they became my main shoe. With a pair of gaiters these boots stand up to search and rescue work, snow and mountain biking in wet vegetation, tracking off trail and spending a whole day in a boat with sloshing water in the bottom . . and now I know how long they last as my pair failed this week and are no longer waterproof after one and one half years of hard wear. I will buy another pair very soon, of the same boot. The boots I have are still good for everything but wet and I will use them up on dry days.

The Best!
First of all, I’m a UPS driver, therefore excellent footwear is a must. After many failed attempts at finding some good shoes that will be durable, waterproof, and comfortable, I came across these shoes from Keen. They were tops in each of those categories.

It could be expected that most new shoes will need at least a minimal amount of time to “break them in.” But these Keens felt like I had been wearing them forever on the first day! The waterproof protection on these shoes is great as well – I never hesitated at any puddle or stream of water.

I would highly recommend these shoes!

Keen Targhee II
Outstanding stable shoe, roomy forefoot that is supportive on sharp rocks, as well as a heel that doesn’t slip. Getting both of those in one shoe has been a long standing problem for me. It is also quick to get in and out of.
I feel I made an excellent purchase!

I own – seriously – three pairs of this shoe
I bought the first pair on sale in a sky blue color, and loved them so much I invested in the red variety at full price…just bought pair number 3 in black, to wear on semi-professional occasions where I’ll be on my feet for hours and need to be able to run (I work with the press, so speed is sometimes a priority…I have a pair of black Dansko clogs I occasionally wear for their comfort, but moving faster than a brisk walk is impossible in them). I’m not sure which colors are currently available on Amazon, but I know this model is produced in at least five colors: moss green, brown, black, tomato red and pool blue.

I have narrowish feet, size 8.5 and high arches…and this is literally the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever owned. I’ve walked upwards of eight miles at a time in the blue pair and – here’s another plus – they still look great, after a year and a half of fairly constant wear.

These shoes cost more than sneakers, but I can absolutely tell you they are worth every penny. The leather is sturdy and I’ve dropped a full glass of water on my toes with no splash marks left later.

Seriously, I cannot say enough about this product. My only worry is that Keen will stop making them. If I ever see another pair on sale in my size I will invest in #4.

I own several other pairs of Keen shoes as well (including the Bend, the Portola and the Tuscany)…and while I would rate those maybe an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10, the Presidio goes up to eleven. Higher, really. The fit is most like the Targhee mid, another Keen model of which I own more than one pair (try the purple ones, they’re insanely cute.)

One detail: They run about a half size smaller than marked. I wear an 8.5 in most brands of shoe, but I need a full size 9 in the Presidios.

I am going to buy myself the brown ones also
I love the look the feel and the high arch support. They are great for walking distances on hard or soft surfaces. I wear them everyday to work since I bought them and now I am going to buy the brown ones for my brown and tan slacks.

Love these shoes
These shoes are definitely worth the extra money I spent to get them. They are very comfortable and look nice. They are a nice combination between a sneaker and an oxford type shoe. They are very comfortable and that is the selling point for me. I definitely recommend them. I wish they were all black instead of having the gray strip on the bottom.
