Dansko Marcelle Patent Leather Clog
I have worn a pair of Red patent leather Dansko Marcelle for three years. I have loved them so much that I really did build a part of my wardrobe around them. I also have about 10 pairs of Danskos in my closet. Before I bought my first pair in 2000, I had been plagued with leg problems my whole life (flat feet, shin splints, plantar fasciitis) and was thrilled to find shoes that I could walk in (not to mention add a little height).

I was so excited when the black patent ones were introduced.

However, the last has changed on this shoe and it is at least a quarter of an inch shorter than my originals. Just enough to make them too small. I was very disappointed. One size larger is just a bit too big.

What happened to JUST RIGHT?

Comfort and looks in one.
Dansko shoes are comfortable anyway and these are no exception. Their looks are outstanding and strangers in hallways stop me to complement me on these clogs!

didn’t want to believe it…
I interned at a hospital my last year of school, and saw these Dansko professional clogs all around, in every color imaginable. Nurses, doctors, interns, med students…everyone who spends a lot of time on their feet was wearing a pair. Honestly, I didn’t think they were that attractive. But I decided to make the investment and try a pair. Now I have two.

The most amazing part about these shoes is that you don’t feel a thing – and I realized that’s the beauty of them. After an entire day on your feet, you don’t feel anything when you go home – no pain, no aching, no throbbing, no blisters.

I didn’t truly appreciate these shoes until the day I didn’t wear them.

Just make sure you get them in the right size – I’m a 9 to a 9.5 and I had to go up to what they call the equivalent of a 10.

Wonderful clogs! Perfect fit for my feet.
Dansko Professional clogs are so comfortable, sturdy and easy to get on and off in a hurry! I have very flat (fallen) arches, a medium width forefoot and a narrower heel. I tried the Dansko Pro regular width and my feet always felt like they were sliding around in them. I was never really secure with the fit. I just bought a pair of Dansko Pro Narrow fit and they are so perfect for my feet! They hug my arches just as they should, the toe box has plenty of room for my feet. They are so fabulous! I plan on buying them in tons of colors. Absolutely wonderful shoes.

Proven quality
As a nurse, I’ve worn my Dansko clogs a great deal in the past four years. I’d recommend them to any nurse or nursing student. The cost is higher than you might have in mind, but the value and durability of these shoes more than makes up for the price. My only recommendation is: if you get white, take good care of them from day one. I only polished them now and then for the first year, and now there are dark scuffs I can’t cover. I end up using a polish that covers it pretty well, but has a matte finish.

Overall, definitely worth five stars. Your feet will thank you after 12+ hour shifts.

Great pair of Dansko’s!
I am the proud owner of 5 pairs of Dansko’s – this being #5 – I LOVE the lighter weight and the cut out sole – they have a little dressier look to them than the standard Dansko. I was a bit nervous about trying them – but absolutely NO regrets – positively a great Dansko Shoe!

Perfect clog
I have never had such a comfortable pair of clogs. Also, very attractive. I would love to have one in every color!

red patent leather (been waiting for since I was 13!)
I really dig them. While they’re not as fire-engine red as I’d envisioned, they’re the usual Dansko-comfortable, plus they arrived WAY ahead of when anticipated. I’m super-critical of all kinds of shoes (and trust me, I’m big on *all* kinds of shoes), so I like these: for the comfort, that they make you taller (almost 6 ft for me), and the Wizard-of-Oz-cool, goofy red. Not exactly Louboutins (SP?), but *much* easier to walk in.
